About Matt The Handyman
I'm Matt, a licensed and insured handyman based in Coquitlam and a true jack of all trades. I help homeowners in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody fix, install and assemble almost anything around the house.
How I got here
Before I was a handyman, I studied Computer Science and spent years solving technical problems. I found that the same mindset works on almost everything around the home, not just computers.
Besides home repairs, I've done carpentry and drywall, and I've rebuilt engines, transmissions and electronics. If something isn't working the way it should, I like figuring out why and fixing it. I have the tools, the experience and the problem-solving mindset to take on something new and get it sorted.
I enjoy this work because it's practical. A space looks better, a problem is solved, and a homeowner is happy again.

The everyday stuff that keeps a house working and looking good: seamless drywall and paint touch-ups, TV mounts, furniture assembly, light fixtures, sinks and under-sink repairs, laminate and hybrid flooring, closet hardware, garage doors, fences and decks, security cameras, and a long list of one-off repairs and installs.
