Port Moody homes range from newer townhouses and condos to established family homes and older character houses. In newer buildings, I'm often looking at small things: touch-ups, door and cabinet alignment, TV mounts and furniture assembly. In more established areas such as Glenayre and Moody Centre, worn caulk, sticking doors, tired fences and decks are what usually need attention first. A lot of Port Moody is on slopes and close to the water, so bathrooms, under-sink cabinets and exterior-facing walls can stay damp, which makes small leaks and fresh caulk worth dealing with early.
