A few local things worth knowing
Our wet fall and winter mean bathrooms, closets and exterior-facing walls can hold moisture, and paint over damp surfaces will bubble or peel. If you see staining or peeling, tell me before we paint so we deal with the cause first. Touch-ups can also show when old paint has faded: sometimes the best fix is painting the whole wall, corner to corner, so the new paint blends in.
Common questions
Can you match my existing paint colour?
If you have the paint name or a leftover can, send it. If you don't, I'll tell you what's realistic. Old paint fades, so a small spot can look different from the wall around it. Repainting the whole wall often looks best.
Can you paint ceilings?
Yes. If a ceiling has a stain from a past leak, the leak needs to be fixed and the area dry first. Then I can prime and paint it.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Clearing small items and anything fragile helps. Send a photo of the room and I'll tell you what needs moving.
