How it works
- Send photos and the room size. A wide shot of the room, the floor you have now, and rough measurements. Tell me the flooring you're planning to buy, or send the link.
- Get a free quote. I'll tell you what the job involves and stop by if I need to see the floor.
- Laid and tidied. I lay the floor, check the transitions and clean up.
A few local things worth knowing
Many condos and townhouses here have strata rules on flooring, including the type of underlay for sound, so check your bylaws and get any approval you need before you buy. Concrete slabs and damp areas can affect which flooring and underlay suit the room. Click-lock floors also need time to settle in the room before they go down; follow the instructions for the product you choose. Water-resistant hybrid is often the better pick for kitchens and entryways in our wet months.

Can you lay the new floor over my old floor?
Sometimes. It depends on what's there now and how flat it is. Send photos and I'll tell you what I see.
Do I buy the flooring myself?
Usually, yes. Send me the product and room size and I'll help you work out how much to order.
How long does it take?
It depends on the room and the layout. I'll give you an idea of timing when I quote.
Can you fix just one damaged plank?
Often, yes, on a click-lock floor, if the area is accessible. Send a photo of the damage and the surrounding floor.
