A few local things worth knowing
Damp winters swell wood doors and corrode rollers and tracks, and worn bottom seals let in rain and leaves. Do not loosen or adjust the springs or cables yourself: they hold a lot of tension and can injure you. If your problem is a broken spring or cable, I'll be honest about whether it's a job for a garage door specialist. In a strata, check who is responsible for the garage door before booking.

My garage door is noisy. What's usually wrong?
Dry or worn rollers and hinges are the usual cause. Lubrication or replacement often quiets it. Send a short video if you can.
The door goes down and then back up. Can you fix it?
Often it's the safety sensors being dirty or out of line. I'll check them and the door's travel.
Can you replace a broken spring?
